“The Story of a Village and a War” is a film that explores the lives of the people in southern Lebanon during the Israeli invasion of 1978, highlighting their daily suffering under occupation. The film was presented at the United Nations at the request of Ghassan Tueini, Lebanon’s representative at the time. This screening played a significant role in the adoption of Resolution 425, which called for the withdrawal of the israeli occupation forces from southern Lebanon.
